Example Programs
Below are some examples of the programs that I have coded, tested, and ran throughout my programming learning experience. They are made using Visual Studio C++, and I provided videos so that you don’t have to worry about downloading the files. Enjoy!
Super Smash Spheres
This is one of the projects that I worked on that deals with several different elements in game programming. The game is called Super Smash Spheres which is a game where you have to run around and knock the other spheres out of the ring. One element that I worked on is collision. In order for the collision to work I had to have a dynamic object and a static object classe. Then I had to work on inheriting the components of those classes into the separate instances of the spheres other objects in the scene. Other topics covered include behaviors, triggers, uploading and rendering meshes, and a Graphic User Interface (GUI). Below is a video of the product.

Robotic Arm
Using OpenGL I was able to make a robotic arm that would point at the position of a ball in a 3D environment. The robot arm was made with using two cylinders, and the ball was made using a sphere. The concepts that I learned was how to create the objects using float variables. I learned how to use the Pythagorean Theorem to compute the sphere being located in a certain spot in space. The push and pop method was also introduced for computing the rotation of the cylinder.
Bot Path Finding
Using Torque Game Engine I was able to make a 3D world that the player could roam around in. There was also AI controlled enemies that followed a path. If the player got too close then they would shoot at the player. I worked with a partner and he made the gun, and I made the level and the buildings that you see in the demo.
